Yellow and Green

Yellow and

Green

Watching over tall

As they graze below

You’ll catch the

Winds

And mirror the

First Sun

As worms run

Through me

Spiders shall

Weave upon ribs

As I have upon

These lines

You turned Your

Back to the eternal sky

To find Your shadow

Freed and green all

Yellow now

Is it that Your fallen

Leaves hinder Your

Sight

Or merely the fond

Grass that has died
